integrating the full moon lunar eclipse in scorpio
Yesterday we had a full moon lunar eclipse in Scorpio, the fixed water sign of deep emotional sensitivity, sex, death, rebirth, transformation, power, intimacy, the occult, and shared resources.
If you're sensitive to lunar energy like me, you've probably been feeling this event approaching for the past several days. These are very powerful energetic shifts, so don't be surprised if you're still feeling its effects up to 7 days afterwards as well. To that end, I wanted to share some insights into how to navigate and integrate the energy. I'm also going to give you a big “heads up” on a huge announcement I will be making VERY soon!
I wanted to share some healing themes to be aware of, as you may experience (or already have experienced) some surprise and intense, emotional endings in your life that will ultimately empower and set you free from something holding you back, even if they are very uncomfortable at first.
This eclipse was exact at 15 degrees of Scorpio. How strongly you'll feel this lunar event will depend on where Scorpio is in your birth chart and if you have planets or points between 10 and 20 degrees (If you’re not sure and curious to know, you can book a Life Path Astrology™ Reading with me here).
I have my natal Uranus, the planet of disruption and rebellion, in the 6th house of work and well-being at exactly 15 degrees of Scorpio, so I am bracing myself for additional new awarenesses since the last eclipse (at 29 degrees Aries) and massive shedding in this area of my life.
Lunar eclipses in general are about revelations, endings, change, and have the potential to be very emotional. Scorpio energy is related to healing, alchemy, and soul growth. So get ready for permanent endings and completions that you are ready for when it comes to evaluating relationships, changing obligations, and honoring a new emotional truth. My advice: let the tears flow. Allow the endings to unfold and bless them with gratitude.
I was totally exhausted yesterday right around the time the eclipse was exact, so I did a guided meditation and let myself pass the f*** out for about an hour in the early afternoon. Knowing that this is a powerful time of releasing what is stale, heavy, and draining in my life, I figured I should just follow the cues of my body to lay down and let it all wash away. No need to fight what is in my highest good!
In terms of the massive shedding I referred to earlier, I am no longer available to only bring parts of myself to the work that I do. No more making myself palatable to “corporate America” or traditional institutions! My desire, and the best of use of my energy, gifts, and talents, is to bring my full, authentic self to the table.
